There's something about the look in your eyes Something I noticed when the light was just right

As it gets to be that time of year
were those with boyfriends
and girlfriends
have that special day together
i start to feel a little sad that i am not in a relationship
dont get me wrong i love being single
it definatly has its advantages
and besideds it is lots of fun
sometimes i just look around me and wonder why
i am still single
is is because there is no one
that wants to date me
or because on some level i just dont want
to be in a serious relationship
it is weird cause before about a year in a half ago
i had been in a relationship for about 7 years total
looking back it was a long time
especially with how young i was
I guess when it gets to be around Valentines day
i would just like to be sent flowers
or get a card
you know something totally girly like that
and seeing as how i am totally single
the likeliness of that is much less
who knows though
maybe my secret admirer will emerge
a girl can hope huh
hahaha
or i will just be like Cher in clueless and buy myself flowers :-D
